Delphine H. Scott, Founder
Delphine Scott has years of experience creating stunning designs for a variety of organizations. She is passionate about her work and is committed to delivering exceptional results for her clients.
Delphine Scott is the proud mother of twin sons. She is also the proud grandmother of four grandchildren and great-grandmother of one great-granddaughter.
She holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in English. Her 41 years in the education profession include roles as an English teacher, Gifted and Talented Teacher, Gifted and Talented Coordinator, Adult Education English Teacher, College English Professor, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Human Resources Coordinator. She first retired in 2007.
After retirement, Delphine launched and managed for five years an online teacher certification consultant business and an online retail business selling teacher recognition gifts, school bus collectibles, and assorted gifts for various professionals. As a working retiree, Delphine returned to her love of teaching and worked as a long-term substitute teacher for two years. She then advanced to the position of Human Resources Specialist, where she worked for an additional nine and a half years. She spent her last six months as an Elementary Principal. Delphine officially retired from the education profession on June 30, 2020.
Delphine is a member of St. Peter AME Church, a small, rural church in North, SC, where she currently serves as the social media manager, videographer, photographer, and website administrator.
As a youth, Delphine was an active member of the Young People's Division and later served as the local church's YPD president. Delphine continued her service at the district level, serving 22 churches upon her appointment as the District's YPD Director and later the District Debutante-Master Commissioner. Impressed by her work at her local church, the Presiding Elder hired Delphine as the District's Website Developer and Administrator. She undertook the challenging task of creating a comprehensive website to meet the needs of 23 churches located in the Midlands. She served in that position for four years, until the district underwent restructuring.
Delphine continues to add to her 12-year service record as a social media manager and website administrator at her local church.
Delphine enjoys listening to music, writing, photography, genealogy, word games, lighthouses, puns, idiomatic expressions, proofreading and editing, shopping, and spending time with family. Delphine’s favorite quote is based on the Bible verse Matthew 7:12: “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.”
